Haley Heinen & John Fisher Share the Friends Mission on North Dakota Today

Executive Director John Fisher and Program Director Haley Heinen appeared on North Dakota Today, sharing how Friends of the Children program provides paid, professional mentors for at risk children in our community for 12+ years (no matter what).

Segment 1: Friends Of The Children helps at-risk kids across the valley, pairing them with mentors through their entire childhood. Haley reflected on walking alongside children who've endured so much in their short lives, including trauma and not having a consistent adult to support them.

Segment 2: John shares about community partners including schools and social services, who refer children to us who are most in-need, raising funds to enroll more local children and how you can donate. (Plus, Haley shares even more stories of local children served by Friends FM.)
